Week 4
Since the structure is a church there isnt much private space. I have drawn the following to explain how the building is used.
Red: Heavy usage for circulation and sightseeing.
Yellow: Less used (Semi Public) in a sense. not that it is especially private just that people rarely use the space and rarely ever glance over there.
Blue: Actually recieves some privacy becasue of the walls but is of course accesible for everyone.

Week 3 Studio
Started on a model that will serve as a mold/sketch for latter assignment.
Ran into a bit of problems with the volume requirement so had to work around it in a few parts.
Next step is to add floor levels that are able to contain all specific room areas.

Reflection and Sources
Working with the paper was interesting. I found it to be quite a lot harder than i thought.
The first design took me a good long while. I tried to get the most important features of Gaudi's la sagrada familia incorporated into the design. Making visible towers and arches.
The second model is more conceptual attempting to put Gaudi's style into one design. I made a wavelike pattern that i feel Gaudi was using in his designs. I tried a technique called crumbling for that one.
The third had to be more realistic and it was very hard to make the paper shape itself after the design.
Working with paper really gave some good ideas for my design. I have always enjoyed using a "carpet" to serve as a feature in a model.
